Solar panels: 100% renewable energy
Solar panels generate clean electricity for your home using daylight.
That means from the moment they’re installed, you buy less electricity from the grid. On bright days, your panels may produce more energy than your home needs.
When solar is combined with a battery and a heat pump, more of the energy your home uses can come directly from your roof.

Aira Power Store: storage
Without a battery, any surplus solar electricity is exported to the grid.
The Aira Power Store stores that energy instead, so you can use it later – in the evening, on cloudy days, or when electricity prices are higher.
Aira Intelligence helps decide when energy should be stored, used in your home or exported to the grid, so your system runs as efficiently as possible.

Aira Heat Pump: efficient heating
The Aira Heat Pump replaces your gas boiler and heats your home using electricity instead of fossil fuels. Because heat pumps move heat rather than generate it by burning fuel, they are four times more efficient than a boiler. Learn more about what an air source heat pump is here.
Designed in Sweden and installed by Aira Academy-trained technicians across the UK, the Aira Heat Pump works reliably even in very cold temperatures and provides heating and hot water all year round.
Pair it with solar panels and a home battery, and your heating can run partly on electricity your home generates itself.

Aira Power Hub: energy control
The Aira Power Hub is the inverter at the centre of the system.
Solar panels generate direct current (DC) electricity. But your home runs on alternating current (AC). The Power Hub converts that solar electricity into usable power for your home.
It also works the other way. When electricity comes from the grid, the Power Hub can convert AC power back into DC so your Aira Power Store battery can charge.
Alongside this conversion, it manages how energy flows between your solar panels, battery, heat pump and the grid – helping ensure energy is used, stored or exported at the right time.

Optional: EV Charger and Smart Appliances
If you have an electric vehicle, your home energy system can also work alongside your EV charger. That means your car can charge using solar energy generated during the day – or during cheaper overnight tariff periods.
Because Aira Intelligence adapts to your electricity tariff, your heat pump and home energy system can work with EV tariffs too. So you don’t have to choose between charging your car cheaply and running your home efficiently.
Other appliances – like underfloor heating or washing machines – can also run when solar generation is highest or electricity prices are lowest.
