Boiler Upgrade Scheme
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (or ‘BUS’ for short) gives eligible homes a £7,500 grant to help replace their old gas or oil boiler with a clean energy heat pump.
As part of our hassle-free switch, we’ll apply for the grant on your behalf and deduct it from your quote when you switch.
How to apply for the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme with Aira

We’ll ask some simple questions to check your home is suitable for a heat pump (70% of UK homes are) and whether you qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
Get a free home energy assessment
An Aira Energy Expert visits your home to assess your energy needs and begins planing your tailor-made clean energy system.
Check your no-strings fixed quote
Get a price-locked quote for your clean energy system, with the government grant saving of £7,500 already taken off. The price we quote will never increase. We will, however, reduce our price if we need to make fewer changes to your home than planned.

0% VAT to pay
What’s more, clean energy home improvements, like switching to a heat pump, installing solar panels and insulating your walls and roof, are exempt from VAT until 31st March 2027.
That means you pay 20% less to make your home more energy efficient.
